St. Marys Pride Bannerse

In late 2021/early 2022, Stratford-Perth Pride consulted the Town of St. Marys on installing rainbow/pride visual(s) in St. Marys to show support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. 

In March 2022 the Town of St. Marys approved their “Pride Banner Recognition Program” which would bring 30 Pride Flag banners to downtown St. Marys. 

The annual banner program launched in June 2022, bringing 30 Progress Flag banners to downtown St. Marys – a town of just 7,000 people. 

The 30 Progress Pride Flag banners have been hung throughout the downtown to promote inclusivity, build awareness and celebrate all 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals in St. Marys and beyond. Pride flags are also flown at all Town facilities.
