Stratford-Perth Pride board members share the voice of the 2SLGBTQIA+ people throughout Stratford, St. Marys and Perth County wherever possible.

The below is a list of some of the places we’re ensuring the queer voices is heard. Some of the below are official Stratford-Perth Pride activities whereas others are personal or professional connections of individual board members.

Destination Stratford's Welcoming Community Initiative

Destination Stratford’s and community partners are collaboratively working to define what it means to be a “welcoming community” and to bring this definition to Stratford City Council for formal recognition to continue EDIAR awareness and action within our community, especially for our front-line tourism teams and local residents.

Stratford BIA's Advocacy/Education Sub-Committee

This subcommittee of the Stratford Downtown BIA works  to develop and implement a  diversity and anti-racism policy, advocate for members at different levels of government, facilitate and work with other community organizations/partners to offer professional development and training opportunities to members, encourage positive communications between local community and membership and more. 

Community Equity Action Team

The Community Equity Action Team (CEAT) works positively influence the actions of the Stratford Police Service; to create more open, transparent, and fruitful relationships with all racialized members of our communities – while learning with others and sharing our experiences to create change.


Destination Stratford's Festivals, Events and Attractions Tourism Advisory Committee

The FEA-TAC shares and discusses opportunities and challenges that will help inform and shape Destination Stratford’s Marketing, Development and Management initiatives.
